Replacement Theology Part 3

In this episode of Israel Unveiled, Sandy delivers part three of a teaching series on replacement theology, examining its historical development and ongoing influence in the church. She outlines how the early church’s gradual distancing from its Jewish roots, fueled by respected theologians’ anti-Semitic writings, laid the groundwork for replacement theology—the belief that the church has permanently replaced Israel in God’s redemptive plan. Sandy reviews harmful theological perspectives such as fulfillment theology and dominion theology, showing how they dismiss Israel’s significance. She concludes with a call to truth, highlighting the enduring covenant between God and the Jewish people as foundational to our trust in God’s promises to the church.

This has helped me to understand the development of Christianity. I’m thinking of what Jesus said in Matt 5:17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets, I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.” Thank you, Sandy, for sharing this teaching.

Sandy, this Part 3 video was brilliant! I am working on a course for Gentile Christians and I would like have students watch some of your excellent “Israel Unveiled” videos. You do a beautiful job!
